Is Arabic difficult to learn?

YES - and no. Learning Arabic certainly takes time and practice, but there are not many irregularities in the grammar. It's much less complicated than Latin, and probably simpler than German, too. Arabic is like any other language, easy in some aspects and hard in some others, depending on the learner's background, and ability to adapt to new rules. Arabic exists in two forms:

The modern Standard Arabic used in schools, universities, etc.. and on formal occasions such as speeches, debates, etc... (it's what you'll learn here)

The colloquial dialects which differ from one country to another. The colloquial dialect refers to the informal use of the language.

We talked earlier about the idea of writing your names in Arabic, and some of you have responded “Yes”. So we will begin this! and hopefully we’ll keep doing it if you like it .  We ask you now to :

• Before asking for your name , make sure that your name has not been published before. You can find all the names we’ve already published HERE
• Go to our ask box.
• And Put your name (written in your native language).
• let us know what language is that.
• write your name again but in English letters.
• Tell us what does it mean -if you know-?
• Finally tell us if you’re Male or Female .
• AND please send one name at a time!

And we will post the names as soon as we can, hope you like it.

FAQ:

• I sent you my name earlier but I did not get any answer?

We are sorry if you felt offended or neglected by that, but as you can see we get a lot of name requests and it’s hard to answer every single message, so you can go back to the Names page and try to find your name there, we usually try to answer when we have the time ‘cause some lovely messages just deserve to get a thank you note.

• I wasn’t online for a while, how can I find my name?

If you missed the post that doesn’t mean it’s lost! you can try any of these ways:

1. Search the tags using your name or your username/url.
2. Go to the names page.

• My name is in the names page but there’s no link?

That means it’s coming real soon! so wait a little longer :).

• Still can’t find my name?

Are you sure you sent it? maybe it’s lost in the mail?lol.  try to send it one more time and make sure you don’t send it anonymously.

• I don’t know what my name means is it okay?

It’s okay, we’ll search it for you and try to find out everything about it, but that might take some time and we wont post your name till we find the meaning :(. That means if you send the info you’ll get your name faster! :)
